Henry Bowen explains IRRBB
ALMA's recent online sessions "Explain Treasury Like I'm Five" have proved so popular that we have taken some of the topics covered in these sessions and turned them into podcasts.
In the third episode of ALMA's new series of "Treasury Matters" podcasts, CertBALM®er, Henry Bowen from HSBC, talks to Aisling Coleman (ALMA Board Member and Barclays) about the basics of IRRBB, why it is important, what happens when interest rates change and how this affects a bank's financial health.
It's a brilliant listen whether you are new to Treasury, work in a bank or already know something about Liquidity.
The Asset and Liability Management Association Limited
ALMA was formed in 1992 as a trade association of asset & liability risk management practitioners in leading banks, building societies and other related companies. The company has over 110 members from UK, Irish and international institutions. The company’s primary aims are to provide education, networking opportunities and promote awareness of asset and liability risk management issues within Treasury and a wider bank balance sheet.
